Frequently Asked Questions
Are Dobermans good family dogs?
Our Dobermans are bred to be excellent family companions with high intelligence and a desire to be trained. We strive to produce the best of the best!
Are your parent dogs health tested and/or titled?
Absolutely! The extent of health testing and titles varies for each dog, and this information will be available to prospective owners prior to puppy selection.
What type of health guarantee do you provide?
We provide an unprecedented Lifetime Genetic Health Guarantee.
Do you breed other types of dogs?
Nope! Just Dobermans.
Can I pick my own puppy?
Puppy selection is a mutual decision; each puppy is evaluated by a 3rd party at 7 weeks old, then their behavioral characteristics are compared to your unique experience and training goals. You get to choose from the best possible pup for your home!
Do you provide AKC full registration (breeding rights)?
Full registration may be granted (at no additional cost) on a case-by-case basis at or beyond 2 years old, conditionally. Ideally, all of our pups will develop into breeding quality adults...however, in an effort to maintain the integrity of the breed, only select dogs will meet the necessary criteria for breeding.
How do I know you aren't a scammer?
Scams are abundant in our world today. To dispel any concerns, Ohio Dobermans is available by phone, email, text, AND in-person. We encourage you to visit our home to meet the owners, trainers, and dogs.
What should I expect to pay for a Doberman puppy?
Doberman puppies vary greatly in cost from under $1,000 to $7,500+. Reputable breeders typically fall right in the middle somewhere, however cost does not always reflect quality.
